Veronica first came to Sri Lanka in late 2011 with her husband on their annual holiday. They had travelled to different exotic places each year prior to that. This time they decided this was a special place and so they came back every year after that, eventually Veronica stayed on and has been here since. Veronica now manages her own investments and is a partner in the South Sri Lanka Property, real estate agency. Veronica is an avid chronicler of her life experiences and writes a blog about her life as a double ex-pat (originally from Russia and 20 years in UK) living now in paradise. The blog will hopefully put a microscope on her day-to-day life dealing with a culture that is still post-colonial but awakening to a new exciting future.
