This 89 perches are perfectly set on one of the most beautiful stretches of sandy beach in the South.
The area is famous for two things: the most stunning, very long and wide beaches fringed with mature tall coconuts and large lagoon full of rear birds and other wild life.
There are plans to resume sea-plane service from Colombo to this lagoon. Its expensive but fast.
The beaches are famous for five types of sea turtles nesting in the area. It attracts tourists and the properties built on the beach would be popular for this reason as well as for the extreme beauty of the beaches.
But the sea can be rough part time of the year and some areas are not swimmable off-season.
The whole area will benefit enormously from the extension of the highway to Hambanthota which is scheduled on 2019.
